anybody have tried connecting an s7 300 plc 315-2DP as master and an S7 200 (with profibus interface) profibus connection.?
ill will have an hmi connected to mpi to the 315 cpu and s7 200 connected as slave to the 315 using the profibus connection.
is it possible to control all the input and output of the s7 200 using this kind of connection?
is there any SFB needed to be loaded
Thanks to all>>>>>

the EM277 make a I/O virtual in the V memory.
you master write the ouput and read the input, the input and the output gone in the V memory.
tips
here
if you configure the slave in consistency area dont forget the SFC15 SFC14.
