What's New (What Fix) in V5.4 SP3.1?
• SIMATIC Manager
- The archiving program PKZip V8.6 CLI supplied as part of STEP 7 V5.4 SP3 will be replaced by PKZip V4.0 from STEP 7 V5.4 SP2 for the operating systems MS Windows 2000, MS Windows XP and MS Windows 2003 Server. PKZip V8.6 CLI will still be used with MS Windows Vista. Note the instructions for use in the STEP 7 Readme file.
- If you already own the archiving program WinZip V11.1 Pro with command line option, you can now integrate this product into all supported operating systems. If you want to use WinZip for archiving purposes, we recommend using WinZip V11.1 Pro in connection with the ZIP file format.
