I have Micrologix 1000 here but I dont have interface cable.
Did any friend here who can tell us how to interface my laptop and download my program using a custom interface cable.

Micrologix1000 interface cable
The mini-DIN connector is the comm port and it is RS-232 DF1 protocol, full duplex.
The AB cable part is 1761-CBL-PMO2.
Yes, you can make your own cable for a lot less $$$ than purchasing one from AB, BUT....
Note that the 8-pin mini-DIN that's on the AB cable fits a LOT better than a standard one, though a standard one WILL fit. You can purchase the mini-DIN prewired on a cable, then put your own DB-9 on the other end. Word around here is that an Apple mini-DIN will fit as well.
The MicroLogix plug has a +24 VDC source on Pin 1 which is provided to power handheld programmers and network adapters. This is the whole reason that the plug on the MicroLogix is incompatible with commonly available RS-232 plugs.... if it were, users by the thousands would fry their serial ports by plugging in the wrong cable.
The 1784-CP7 adapter connects Pin 1 on the round side to Pin 5 on the D-shell side. Shazam! No more serial port.
The 1761-CBL-PM02 is expensive, but cheap compared to an expensive lesson in proper cable selection.....
In the end the "real" cables are still the best. I've bought a few of them myself.
So here is what you need (check e-bay, you can get them for US$10.00 or less).
Make: Allen-Bradley Cable
Controller Platform: MicroLogix 1000 - 1500
Model: 1761-CBL-PM02
Note: You will also need a USB to Serial Adapter for this cable to work on newer laptops because they don't come standard with seral ports. I use one from TRIPP.LITE (Model: U209-000-R) that works well for me.
