Step5 (key for it) not work on a main computer (with Step7 and ALM), but work on a pure computer

It is recommended to install the Step5 on a pure computer without ALM, Step7 and other Simatic programs.
For this purpose divide a hard disk into 2 partitions and install 2 operational systems - 1-st partitions for Step7, second partition for Step5.
The AuthorsW of Step5 does not love presence of other version of the authorization program ALM.

or ALL-in-ONE file Simatic_Step5_v7.23_HF1_with_cracks.rar

Unpack Main Setup s5upd723.zip
rename INST32.EXE to xINST32.EXE

Copy inst32.exe from special package to install dir.

Run Install.exe ...
Name and company - enter anything

->> finish installation

reboot

copy S5DXBP0X.VER into dir C:\STEP5\S5_SYS\

go to install dir
delete inst32.exe
rename xINST32.EXE to INST32.EXE

Run Install again
->> install run again and also install WinDrivers for STEP5

Forget ALM.
