Hi everyone,

Can anyone share a direct download link (Google Drive, Mega, Yandex etc.) for SmartClient_V17Upd9.exe?

I need the standalone/portable version to avoid Siemens' long export restriction approval process.

If you have TIA Portal V17 installed, you can find it under:
C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\WinCC\bin\

Just zip the SmartClient.exe with its language files and share the link. Thanks in advance!

Copy from a PC with installed WinCC Runtime Advanced or WinCC flexible Runtime

If WinCC flexible Runtime or WinCC runtime advanced is installed on the smart client PC, the smart client application was installed automatically in the following folder and can be copied from there.

WinCC flexible Engineering DVD (Micro / Compact / Standard / Advanced):

...\Program files\Siemens\WinCC flexible\WinCC flexible RT\SmartClient.exe

WinCC (TIA Portal) Engineering DVD (Basic / Comfort / Advanced / Professional):

...\Program files\Siemens\Automation\WinCC RT Advanced\SmartClient.exe

The SmartClient.exe can be copied from the following folders of respective WinCC product DVDs:
