[?]: Will learning beckhoff help me with other plc brands?
I'm currently learning beckhoff PLC at work. once i become competent, will be able to program other PLCs like siemens and allen bradley too?

the answer is very difficult to give, but it is almost certainly NO. 
The systems are different.
The programming concepts are similar, but the programming systems are different. For this reason, learning one system does not mean learning all of them.
Furthermore, all systems are constantly evolving, so saying "when I became competent" means nothing, it also depends on the field of application where you work .
I'm 50 years old and work in this area since 1990 and every day i discover new thing.
