[?]: Modbus TCP S7-200 226 PLC and Wavecom GPRS modem

Post by kelertas » Mon Mar 10, 2008 11:25 am

Hello, everybody.

I want to make some project and I want to ask you is this possible and if it so than what method I should choose.

I'm using S7-200 226 PLC and Wavecom GPRS modem.

a) In my PLC I need to establishe internet connection via GPRS modem with AT commands.
b) PLC must be Modbus TCP/IP slave.

Can I communicate via Modbus TCP at all ? Maybe someone has Modbus TCP FBD?

Thank You.

For a s7-200, maybe you can use modbus slave library and a Serial-to-TCP Modbus converter. Like this one:

Hope it helps.
