[?]: Load changed hardware in profibus

two questions:

when you change a profibus device (that have parameters) for example a encoder, is it necessary load the hardware configuration from step 7 or only make a reset to PLC.

Arethis parameters stored in the electronic of the device or no? (for example a encoder, a scanner or any profibus device )

if you replace equal encoder - no need reupload HWConfig.
If you change encoder white difference quality (2048 step/rev to 8192 step/rev) required to reupload HWConfig.

Absolute Encoder have EEPROM (~1 000 000 cycle of rewrite) for setting logical "0" position and also for scale parametr.

The encoder is the same but it haves parameters (preset, resolution, CW or CCW... Is it nedessary reupload the hardware for this absolute encoder if I won't change any parameters (althought this parameters are diferent of default factory parameter
