[?]: How To Clone HD?

Post by Mark172 » Sat Apr 04, 2009 4:31 pm

Hi all,

Our company is so tight that they have only bought 1 license for some software (BBL RTU Software).
I am the only one with the software fully licensed on my laptop.
My boss is now asking me if there is some way to clone it so it works on everyones laptop.
The license is signed to the HD so I was thinking I would maybe need to clone the whole thing?

Any suggestions?

Some software simply generate its license with the hd serial number.
You can see this one with the "vol" from the command prompt (dos or windows).

There are many software that change the s/n of the hd, without formating, cloning or data lost.

Google : change hard disk volume ID

This is a fast operation, just few seconds, if the license not works again try the "cloning", with the help of ghost or other software as CoMod post.
