hello every one i wish you are fine i have small probleme in deltaV DCS at the level of the post engineer.
when I close the engineer station unit (ews) and I turn on the curves are erased. I wanted to know how to save the curves once the engineer station is switched off from the operator station (op) ... thank you.

Hi bro,
you need to enable the history collection first at the Control module level. These are basic things during DeltaV training.
usually, it is already enabled if you use PCSD. you need administrator privileges to do this modification but no worries, there is no need to download the Control Module.

Is DeltaV 15 use different dongle guys ?

I try My Dongle in DeltaV 15 it's not detected, but when I put it back in DeltaV 13 or 14 it's detected.

no emulator is working with DeltaV v15 until now. I am still using a physical dongle.

I use physical dongle, consumer dongle. the problem solved by fresh install DeltaV. Previously I do upgrade from 14.3.1 to 15. Maybe I miss something in the process.

Maybe you use dongle emulator, so it doesn't work. I have physical dongle for customer (Black sentinel HL Time) also SI dongle works fine.

Mine SI black hardlock dongle from 2010 works fine. I don't think it requires different dongle either , have you try reinstall DeltaV 15 ?

DeltaV 14.3.1 on which version of windows OS operate ?
and does it need to license and physical dongle to work ?

Windows 10 LTSB 2016 or Windows 10 LTSC 2021 is okay, the installer will install the require windows updates. it needs license and physical dongle to work.

Hi. I have loaded DV 8.4 simulate(standalone) license. Problem is that after making logic in control studio, it doesnt saves the control module and displays error " System Cannot find the license for Configuration Editing....".
I installed DV as Standalone Simulation Station only.

the user will be EMERSON for default, and the password will be default password you set when install DeltaV

You'll always set the password first time you install the DeltaV system.

No you can't, there is no demo mode in DeltaV. it still need dongle and license for customer end, or SI Dongle for integrator without any license.

Basically you can't do anything because you need to download the configuration to the proplus you create, for downloading you need license and system ID (dongle).

I only want my VM for learning purpose and simulate hardware there. But it seems that I will need buy that dongle. May I have other options? maybe with older version?
