I was able to start it with windows 8.1. It's only "Professional" indeed. I also have some strange lag spikes about once in a minute for 5-10 seconds - the program is unresponsive. Does anyone else have the same problem or is it only me? On the same machine i have no problem running 2.4.

With the HASPUserSetup.exe included in the patch it didn't work in Windows 8.1 (the dongle is with yellow exclamation mark in the device manager). I downloaded the latest version from www.safenet-inc.com and the dongle is ok but it still lags

I haven't found a solution yet. I have tried on fresh copy of windows 10 and made clean installation of eplan 2.5 but the problem is still there.

From what i can tell it has to do with the new Eplan License Client. Because with the new file (.egf) and new license client(2.5)- both Eplan 2.4 and 2.5 installations lags. On the other hand: new file (.egf) and old license client(2.4) - Eplan 2.4 runs smoothly but Eplan 2.5 doesn't start.

Another hint is that with the new version of the license client (2.5) there is no longer the hardware error message at the beginning.

My question: is there anyone who doesn't have the problem with occasional lag? So we can try to figure out what he did differently.

The lag spikes are really annoying and almost unbearable if you try to use the program for long period of time

But don't now how install it and use the file because the explanation is in Chinese language.
Where can I found one, with a english text?

Installation on windows 10 for Eplan 2.3 (It should be similar for 2.5):

1. Install EPLAN
2. Run .bat file OR copy SN-U10066.EGF in C:\Users\Public\EPLAN\Common\
3. Run .reg file
4. Run MultiKey.exe and install the one you need (In my case it works with the first 64Bit MultiKey)
At this point you should see an unknow device in Device manager
5. Right click the unknow device and choose "Update driver software.." and
"Browse my computer for driver software". Now you need one of the 64Bit Multikeys from the old Cracks for EPLAN 2.3 or 2.4 (I used EPLAN P8 2.4 patch Windows x32x64\Release\MultiKey64 folder).
6. Now you need to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement for windows 10
There are two ways:
- First one works for one windows session only and is disabled after restart (I do not recommend it b/c you need to repeat this step evert time you shutdown or restart your PC): Press F8 while windows loads to enter Advanced options screen, Go to Troubleshoot -> Advanced options -> Windows Startup Settings, Click restart. The system will restart to "Advanced Boot Options" screen. Select option 7 - "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement". Restart PC and Eplan will work for this Windows session only.
- Second PERMANENT way (I recommend this one):
Open the Windows command promt as “Run as Administrator”.
Run “bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS” (without the “”).
To finalize the process run “bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON” (without the “”).
Reboot and you’re done.

Hi all! Same here, Windows 7 Pro 64 bits.. Pretty annoying

I have too lags on 2.5. Now i'm roll back to 2.4. I expect some solutions.

Hi again! Just updated drivers from Sentinel web page to version 7.32 (though file properties claims it's 7.40, so...), still same lag

The problem of lags is connected with EPLAN License Client. When I install version 9.1.13.64100 I get lags with version of Eplan 2.4. When I install version 9.1.12.54500 with Eplan 2.4 is OK. But Eplan 2.5 require virsion of EPLAN License Client 9.1.13.64100. I have replaced three files :
"c:\Program Files\EPLAN\Common\EClientService.exe"
"c:\Program Files\EPLAN\Common\EplanCommonCore.dll"
"c:\Program Files\EPLAN\Common\en-US\EplanCommonResU.dll"
from version of EPLAN EPLAN License Client 9.1.13.64100.
That was enough for version 2.5. But lags back.
Therefore, the root of evil in these three files.

Same issue here.

Did some testing by changing version numbers in some of the dll files - with no result.

The problem is multikey (virtual USB emulator).

They speed up their query to the dongle. (or the quantity)
If I'm trying to test it with a real usb dongle it works like a charm. Multikey seems not fast enough for the latest License Client. We need a new version of it.

As far as I know there is no solution yet. I've returned to 2.4

Just modifying the source code of multikey would be the one and only solution.
I did some modifications with multikey. It's now completely hidden for any kind of search procedure.
(multikey.sys is renamed to emu99.sys, registry entry has been moved, etc..)

Result: lagging furthermore.

It's a new way how the software is talking to the dongle and how fast it expects a response.

Well -spam-, that doesn't seem easy to fix. Can't go back to 2.4 now, damn!

Hi guys for all eplan license file, after thirty days it seem to request for verification which is not possible with our crack version but i have found a way of bypassing that, all need to do is to reinstall the .reg file again which would change the clock to the current date there is no need to change the date on your pc. i am currently using version 2.4 and anytime the license expires

For those of us already using EPlan 2.5 (with lag spikes), should we use the files in the zip's "root" (i.e.: multikey, .reg, .egf)?
Or are we supposed to use the files inside the "防卡补丁" subfolder (i.e.: EPLAN.exe, .xml, .dll)?

Does anyone have a clue? Thanks!

This is a text file explaining to cracking. But by following the instructions does not work anyway. Probably it is connected that the settings in install.xml are for Chinese distribution package EPLAN. I changed path in install.xml reach progress bar when you start Eplan. Further I got a fail on the Add-On load. The firm must be Microsoft. If you change a company - no longer run at all.

I even reinstalled the program, copied the file but still lag occur about every 60 seconds.
I'm doing this on a virtual machine but I doubt that this is the problem.

Edit: the only real difference is that at the start the eplan-eb2.ys168.com opens in the browser..

I tried both 'version.dll' files, and none of them work flawlessly for me (w7x64 SP1). Though I believe lagging did reduce (in frequency), I still need to take a deep breath every minute or so...

EDIT: by "both" files I mean the one included in '2016_01_05 EPLAN.rar' and the one in '2016_01_06 EPLAN.rar'.

Has anyone succeded? In which case, what were the steps you followed? Just copying 'version.dll'? Did you re-install 'multikey.exe'?

Where is this subfolder located? I don't see it
