[?]: how untrial Autocad 2007 LT TRIAL ?

Post by yinhau » Wed Feb 25, 2009 7:38 am

Just a question here.

Autocad 2007 LT allow user to use the trial license in 1 PC for 30 days.

After 30days, I try uninstall and reinstall autocad 2007 but it need me to do product activation.

I repartition & reformat the hdd but autocad 2007 LT still require me to activate and do not let me use the trial.

I believe autocad write some information deep inside the Harddisk that prevent user from reinstall it twice and continue to "try" it.

I do not want to use "crack" and hope to continue to "try" the software.
Is low level formatting the harddisk helpful? anyone try before? Any tools for low level formatting?

Low-level format tool: http://hddguru.com/content/en/software/ ... rmat-Tool/

No offense, but i doubt that AcadLT does that kind of thing. Did you really format the system partition and the program partition too (on wich AcadLT was installed)? If so, this is something new for me.

Another explanation could be, that you used a unique trial-serial code, that can be used only once.

To avoid such things in the future, use VirtualPC (its free) or some other virtualization environment.
