[?]: OP17, upload COM problem, have only USB-serial adapter.

Hi everybody.

Need to upload a OP17 siemens panel.

Tried with ProSave but it would not accept Com5, only Com1 or Com2.
ProTool accepts other coms, but when I want to back-up it starts ProSave etcetc.

I will try to get a Serial Port Mapper to map Com5 over Com1, however, any other suggestions?

go to device manager & find who use com-port 1 or 2
change number from 1 to any non used
go to your com-port & change

sania : good advice , the only problem on the beginning I couldn't find port settings for my USB adapter, but after reinstalling the driver from original cd all went ok.
