Post by ryanbestgarcia » Mon Jun 07, 2010 8:08 am

i'm just wondering what this message mean:
message wrote:Caution: in station SIMATIC HMI Station(1) there are additional nodes that also have to be reloaded.
This was a message after i run a consistency check in my HW config....SIMATIC HMI Station(1) is TP277 that is inserted in profibus master in CPU315-2dp
I am applying direct keys for this hmi to plc...

Hi,

this massage allways appears, whenever you add or remove a station on a profibus.
You added the "direct-key" function to you panel, that means, the panel now acts
as a master (panel itself) as well as a slave (direct-keys).
So you have to daownload the changed configuration to all masters of your profibus.

Hope, that helps

Hello,

This is only note. Because of using two different software to make settings in CPU and panel. And idea is if you make any changes into communication settings (this is Step7), they could be valid only if you make the same settings and download into the panel.
P.S. nice emoticons. (suc) (boom)
best regards,
