[?+]: MP370 to 314C-2DP with MPI cable.

Post by qrius » Fri May 14, 2010 10:32 am

Hello,
I have MP370 panel connected to 314C-2DP PLC.
I connect using MPI cable.
I can connect to the PLC with no problems, and I downloaded my blocks, and the plant is working fine with no problems when I modify the values in Step7.
The problem is that in "Set PG/PC Interface" -> Diagnostic -> READ => I only get the laptop I'm using and the PLC.. I can't see the HMI station.
In WinCC Flexible when I try to transfer, I recieve an error when trying to establish the connection even though I select MPI and the proper station number is put (4), just like I set it in NetPro and in the control panel of the HMI.
Please advise where might the problem be ?????? or if there is some other way to download my visualization ????
Any help can be useful.

Thank you very much

Of course I did that :)
Thanks for the suggestions though..

I solved the problem by using a serial cable directly to the Operator Panel, then resetting to factory settings and resinstalling OS.
Then downloading the program.
When I did that, I was able to connect using my MPI cable, and it was able to communicate with the PLC.

Thank you all
Best regards
