OPC : OLE (Microsoft Object Linking and Embedding ) for Process Control.
With this technology is possible to communicate all hardware ( PLCs ) to HMI or Scada sotware, without the utilization of sofware native drivers, only condition for this software: must be OPC compatible, but at this time all HMI or Scada are compatible.
with this third part OPC servers, ( KepserverEX or other ) is possible comunicate with all the brand of PLCs, to all HMI or scada opc compatible soft.
I apologize for my bad english.
Regards zenchek
