i have a problem of restore ABB 800xA fullbackup system,the following picture show the error information,

This error means that some of system extensions (used in the system) are not installed on your PC.
You must install all of extensions specified in this window in order to complete restore successfully.

Something about these extensions, where can you get and installation order:
1. ABB Operation Graphics Extensions: Install Process Graphics 2 for 800xA SV5 SP2. http://www.4shared.com/folder/YDRtU2OP/ ... ics_2.html
2. AC800M_Graphics_Extension: The same. Install Process Graphics 2 for 800xA SV5 SP2 and this extension will be available from the system extensions list.
3. rmcAuditAspect: This I guess is for audit function (audit trail). Usually this aspect system is included in RMC (Rolling Mill Control) libraries pack for metals applications (RMC setup prerequisite).
4. Reuse_Assistant_Builder: This is an option to the "Engineering Studio". Check the 800xA installation media.
5. BU Metals Graphics_PG2: Graphic extensions for the Graphics Builder PG2. Require PG2, rmcAuditAspect, rdMissingStartCondsAspect and RMC library to be installed.
6. ABB AC 800PEC System Extension: Hardware libraries for Control Builder to support AC 800PEC - a high-end controller from ABB, used in metals application where calculations are time-critical.
7. ABB PC, Network and Software Monitoring Graphics Extension: Same as for #1 and #2.
8. rdMissingStartCondsAspect: Also RMC setup prerequisite. See #3.

Request it from the system owner or from ABB (BU Metals).

Not sure about document ID (3BSE055829R1 C) but I guess - yes, should be the same.

No, these two extensions are exactly from the "Process Graphics 2" for 800xA 5.0 SP2. They are either not installed or installed with errors.

1. Run "setup.exe" from "\800xA Core Functionalities\Process Portal A\Process Portal A Graphics Extension" of PG2 CD and select "Repair".
2. Run "setup.exe" from "\Asset Optimization\PC, Network and Software Monitoring\PC, Network and Software Monitoring Graphics Extension" and select "Repair".

Did you installed PG2 extensions in automatic mode or manually?

i installed the extesions in manual mode ,and i will repair the installation soon.

when i run the "setup" in "800xA Core Functionalities\Process Portal A\Process Portal A Graphics Extension", these is no button write "repair",only "install, copy to server,browse,home,exit",so i click "install",then a window popup.in the title bar write some words "conflict with already installed package(s)".

That might be ok if a newer version installed. Check the installed version in "Add/Remove Programs". In this case you can ignore the message about missing system extensions (click "Yes" and continue restore). However, at the end of restore check the "restore.log" (View Log button) for errors.

i have do the restore and ignore the message about missing system extensions(click "Yes"),but when i finished restore and open the plant explorer workplace, there are some errors display in the workplace window show below.

1. Make printscreen of "Add/Remove Programs". I'm interesting which revision of 800xA core and PG2 extensions are installed.

my dear friend,i update the pg2 to rev.D and then the eplant works good.and i used the bypass tool in your 4shared space to bypass the license detect,so the contorl builder works good too.

but when i open a program use control builder ,many error are shown(like the pic below):

Probably because of incorrect regional settings... or MSXML parser is not (correctly) installed.
Check that "Language for non-Unicode program" is set to "English (United States)". This is in Windows XP control panel.

"language for non-unicode program" has been set to "English (United States)" when the system was installed and before the ABB 800xa system be installed.

my system is windows server 2003 R2 enterprise edition with sp2.

i think my system settings is currect.

Check which version of MSXML parsers you have?
This is in C:\Windows\System32 folder. Files: msxml3.dll and msxml6.dll.

P.S.: Can you upload whole system backup to let me try?

first,the version of msxml3.dll is "Description:MSXML 3.0 SP8, FILE VERSION:8.80.1185.0" and the version of msxml6.dll is "Description:MSXML 6.0 SP1,File Version:6.10.1200.0".
second,upload the whole system backup needs too many time because i have a poor internet speed,but i will spend enough time to upload it to you.

my dear friend,when i am uploading the full backup files,i re-read all of this topic(or posts? sorry for my poor English,but i belive that you can understand my meaning.hahaha),i found that whether if the version of CBM is not correct.so i remove the CBM pro and re-install the newer version CBM pro (Rev.D) then all of the errors disappear. i think i have solved all the problems.
