Hi, kankanaka

Too few information to make any conclusion.

1. Did you reinstall PPA and/or operating system before restore?
2. Which system extensions were loaded in system that is existed 20 days ago?
3. What is written in log file?
4. Are the other parts of aspect directory were restored or restore fully failed after 8 errors and system doesn't work?

Hi Linkinx64,
Nothing was changed last 20 days. We have a backup 13 October 2011 dated. PPA is same, operating system also same, nothing installed or deleted.
Projects files saving C:\OperateITData\ directory. When I want to Restore , system not allow to restore project to that directories, I have to rename directory path for restore for examle C:\OperateITData1\.
After than start the restore process and coming an small error window while loading SystemStructure0.afw.

Sytem has one server and one client nodes. Other errors and end of restore file below;

I had similar errors when upgraded project from VB (PPA 2.1) to PG2 (SV5.1).
The problem was in broken reference (third-party activeX component) and message very similar.

You have to define which component been used in AC800MSubeleB5DD8E56585945.UL_TrimCurve aspect.
Find respected .dll or .ocx file with this component and re-register it in the system (with regsvr32.exe).
Then try restore again.

May i suggest doing the following:
1. Download the application(s) to PLC in order to re-create CDO and CDA files.(don't forget to check 'mirror to aspect' from the CBM)
2. Open each GD and deploy it. If there is the error, the compiler should ask for auto resolve the references and you select this option.
3. Check the log configuration (if you collect historical data maybe the old logs will be missing or overwritten).
4. Add workstation to the system.
5. Check the service structure in your ABB system.
6. If necessary reinstall the VB6 or select the missing libs from the VB editor related to PPA2.1.2
7. Last but not least - check the OPC server is connected to the AS/CS Computer and you have both for the data access and alarm and event this icon :)
8. Next time when your system is resurrected, be sure you create Acronis copy of the Server and workstation and do this on regular basis (e.g. on every 24h)

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for helps. But I decide not to do about restore. We have a ghost image of computer's hard disc. We turned back and redesign pages, unfortunately.

Another smart thing you could do is to take a look at the last version of the PPA 5.1 and try to migrate your system to this version on virtual environment (to practice i mean and redraw all displays and GElements, etc) Then when the time come for the REAL upgrade you will be ready and be able to make it just for one day :D
Best regards!
