[?]: communicate laptop and Mitsubishi Q02CPU

Post by saravanan_tsvk » Mon Sep 19, 2011 7:53 am

Hi All,

I am new to Mitsubishi environment.

I have the Q series CPU Q02CPU and GX Developer V8.45X, I want to communicate between my laptop and Q02CPU via the Gx Developer.
What are the basic needs for the communication.

Please upload/Link for manual about the basics of Q02CPU with HMI and Gx Developer.

[?]: Error LED blinks in Mitsubishi PLC

Post by saravanan_tsvk » Mon Sep 19, 2011 12:06 pm

Hi All,

I am working on a Mitsubishi Q Series PLC, models number is Q02CPU.

Present Status of the CPU,
ERR LED is continuously blink,
MODE LED on with Green Colour
All other LED's are in off Condition
All the DIP switches are in OFF condition.

I have tried to communicate the PLC with GX developer through RS232 interface by selecting the RS 232 serial interface and PLC type as QCPU at the transfer settings.

But I am not able to communicate between my laptop and PLC, it gives the error message "cannot communicate with the PLC" error is <ES:01808201>.

Please help me to clear the Error and establish the communication with the PLC.

check the battery power to enable the controller.
make screenshots of your project settings and put it on the forum.

Thank you very much.

This is the old CPU from where I have to upload the backup, client does it have the original backup.

Battery power is OK, I am not getting the BAT fault LED.

I am using the RS232 cable for communication.

After removing all the signal modules from the PLC rack, there is no error in the PLC and it is going to run mode.

But still it is not possible to communicate with the CPU. Can you please tell me what is the transfer setting needed for the communication.
