[?]: Profibus PA instruments with 800xA?

Hey Guys!!

Anybody known how to configure Profibus PA instruments with 800xA
software?, because I don't have any profibus pa interface to configure
the node number for each instrument with my laptop.

I readed a lot in the manuals, but I don't find the answer or any example
for this

Any suggestion?

I think you missing this ABB training module: T132 - PROFIBUS Configuration with the AC 800M Controller and Fieldbus Builder PH
T132's information a little bit old and intended for 800xA SV3.x family products but main principles still same.

Some examples of usage PB field devices with 800xA you can find in demo system here (SV5.1): viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15772
If your laptop have 2.5 Gb of RAM or greater you can try it.
