well as some of you may know the M340 of Schneider Electric still habe a serial Port for Modbus RTU available (not just on some CPUs - also on NOE communication module).
Wenn I have to get a whole bunch of sensor datas into that PLC.
As I'm using existing Endress & Hauser sensors with HART protocoll onboard I was searching the Internet for a method to use the HART protocoll and saving analog input cards...
What I've found is a HART multiplexer (for example the MACX MCR-S-MUX from Phoenix Contact).
Nice... but what about the protocoll?
The data sheet says 'HART/OPC'. Damm!
Is there a way to get all sensor datas into my PLC and do also the calibration of the sensors via my PLC using a RS232 or 485 link from the PLC to the multiplexer???
Any hints???
