My software is Unity Pro XL. Yes I have already NOE module attached and my RTU is made by Bristol which is Control Wave Micro. My problem is how to read the data from RTU to my Quantum PLC because I want to know the value of the transmitter connected from RTU. Quantum is the Master and the RTU is the Slave.
Sir the slot number of NOE is 5 and the TCP/IP address of the RTU is 192.168.10.20 and my TCP/IP address of Quantum is 192.168.10.1
Please help me how to configure this so that it will communicate each other.

ok
1.) chenge Map_Idx from "0" to "1" (Eqw device Id in modskan)
2.) redy jast holding register (40xxxx)

Sir I change the Map_index from 0 to 1 but still I cannot read the data from RTU..
And in the Status there is an Error Code 4001 and according to the list of error codes in Unity Pro tells that "Inconsistent response by Modbus slave".
I included the screenshots of my logic for more details.

hi macroms
meby this help to you

1.)change No_Reg from 16 to 32 becose in Modscan you read 32 registers
2.)

but in you program addres of rtu 192.168.10.21
3.)if you chenge Map_idx from 1 to 0 and you dont have Error code but not data check in this stage if you can chenge same date in distenashen area in Quantum. if you can't chenge(old value retern) is ok you jast read from slave zero date
4.)I'm think is not critikal but chenge Reg_Read to namber of Register thith out deckloreshin eq. %MWxxx
5.)if you can to send me you full program for check

Sir because we have two RTU's one is 192.168.10.20 and the other is 192.168.10.21 and this two RTU is another vendor and mine only here is the Quantum PLC but my client wants me to communicate with the RTU so that they can also monitor and control the RTU. I also tried to change the number of register from 16 t 32 and it is same.

Anybody here can help my problem?

I am facing problem communicating the Quantum PLC (Master) and Bristol Bobcock RTU (Slave). The situation is likethis;
1. The polling of data from Quantum PLC(Master) to Slave simulation device (Modsim32) and vice versa are OK.
2. The polling of data from RTU (Slave) to Master simulation device (Modscan32) and vice versa are also OK.
3. But when both Quantum PLC (Master) and Bristol Bobcock RTU (Slave) are connected we cannot poll the data.

Help please... :( :( :(

Hello!

well at the CREAD_REG block put 04200 insteat of 200 at SLAVEREG input.
now u must know the address of RTU's as u mention that you have two RTU's....

for example set the address of first rtu = 2 and second rtu = 3

keep that in mind that the address of you plc is 1 make sure that the address of PLC is 1.
one more thing you have 2 rtu's so you have to use 2 tcp/ip blocks and 2 cread_reg blocks

one tcp/ip block with map_idx = 2 and and the other with map_idx = 3 as i mention in the above example......

i hope that this will help you

Sir I am using Unity Pro for my programming software. So is it Ok sir if will change the SLAVEREG for example 04200 instead of 200?Because in the help of this CREAD_REG block it is stated there that if you want to read 40001 register you will only put 1.
