[?+]: SINUMERK 840D does not have enough memory for program

Post by sergio124816 » Fri Jun 29, 2012 2:10 pm

(sos)
CNC 840D (NPU572 + PLK315-2DP + MMC103)
machine is not working 6 years, respectively, the battery has to NPU572
there is a floppy disk from the manufacturer (BOSH) to the project and archives PLC PLC and NC.
When you turn on the MMS message to the lack of communication with the NPU ...
LEDs SF on three modules perefiriynyh IMR300 ...
When trying to connect to the laptop via step7 x122 is also lack of communication ...
According to the manual cleared the PLC memory, LEDs are turned off, step7 saw PLC, the MMC has left a message that there is no connection ...
I'm trying to fill in Architectural project by a PLC said step should be 131kb low memory and in Col. 48, and third, respectively, filled with blocks and get errors.
With simocom trying to fill the archive PLC (23234PLC.ARC) of the same recorded message and then running out of memory ...
Tell me which way to go further?

Hi

At first !

1. You must clear NCK and PLC !
(You must use switch S3 and S4)
You need dokumention --> https://www.automation.siemens.com/doco ... TTPS=REDIR

2. Read in NCK-Parameter !
Here are options-infos.
as example --> how big is the PLC-Ram

3. Read in the PLC-parameter.

Ready

1. Memory clear S3, S4 is ok.
2,3. Step7-> PLC -> Module Information -> Memory = 48kb !!!
Project Memory 138kb...
There are other ideas?

There are other ideas?
1. After clear NCK --> and load defaults --> you have 4 axis ! ?

2. Clear PLC with the switch --> now the PLC-LED must green flash !

3. Read in --> NCK-Datas with MMC103 --> now you must have the orgin "names and counts" of the machine ! ?

4. Read in --> PLC-Datas with MMC103 --> you NOT need Step7-Programm, you only can make this all with MMC103 ! ?

Make this 4 Steps.
Look, if errors ocour ? ( read the Protocoll --> softkey )

Problem solved by replacing NCU 572.2 for the same from another machine.
Reading and writing machine data and PLC programs are now available from both the MMC103, and from STEP7.

Thank you for your help.
