There are some new products developed by our company,

1, S7-200 Ethernet/Internet adapter, Connect the PG port of S7-200 to Ethernet/Internet, Cheap and good
2,S7-300/400 Ethernet/internet adapter, Connect the PG port of S7-300/400 to Ethernet/Internet, Cheap and good

Hi,
According to number 3 You have Siemens solution: CP5711. For point 1 and 2 it is not clear which port of PLC will connect to?

I was forced to change my laptop and now I have to search for a solution to interface with MPI and Profibus network.
I need to use VM and I would like to find a solution to use again my old CP5512.

I also take a look at this: http://www.cable-online.cn/cp5512-expre ... p-365.html
but the limit is the expresscard is not available for VM.

It seems that I have to point to the CP5517 or compatible or the following one:
http://www.hilscher.com/products_detail ... 2ac0e&bs=8
and both of the way seems to be very expansive.

Is there anybody find out some like an adapter from USB to PCMCIA suitable for my CP5512 or similar?

best regards

Thank you for your fast reply at first,

the issue I can figure is that the express card converter seems no more available and also there is no way to recognize with a virtual machine.
Also the Siemens adapter you mentioned has limits: I have the old project with the Profibus network speed setup to 12Mb and the adapter is limited to 1500Kb.

The connection problem is only for the service engineer related to the old project because the new equipment has always the lan interface.

As you can see the solution seems to be hard to find.
