hitech pws5600t-s hmi and s7-200 plc com problem

hello
i have a s7-200 plc connected to a hitech pws5600 hmi but the hmi shows this message "com1 connection" and does not respond .
i checked the link cable it is ok and i'am suspecting the port on the hmi .am i wrong or right please help me ?
