has anyone successfully managed to use the panel builder software TP200 (v4.7.14) for the Kinco text panels (e.g. MD204L) ?
I am struggling with downloading anything to such a panel. All I get is a single beep from the panel and then "No Response" from the TP200 application...
I am using a USB-RS232C converter, itworks fine with the Kinco K504 PLC. I am also using the inteded cable from Kinco, neatly labeled MD204L at one end and "PC" at the other end...

my mistake, wrong cable... It works as expected. Although the tools are not so fancy, this panel is cute and useful for simple application. Have not attempted RS485 wiring yet, the documentation only mentions 4-wire connection for RS485. My RS232/RS485 converters are all two-wire converters.
