i'm confused about Wonderware Intouch communication to field devices?
i'm new in Intouch , so howa can i connect MODBUS devices to intouch?
what's the component i need in addition to wonderware in touch 10?


if i want to use OPC how can i use it ?

if you want to use opc you must install a program from wonderware which name is opclink.

this program will act as an opc client from one side and as a dde server from the other side.
or you can install wonderware IO server for modbus and connect directly
to modbus devices.

i know also that a factory suite act as an opc server?

any one has any software of ( OPClink , factory suit gateway , I/o server for modbus) plz share
