[?]: IMC-S class upload problem

Post by dekor » Fri Jun 27, 2008 8:15 am

Dear friends,
Please help me to solve next problem:
I have two identical machines which use IMC-S class. For one of them it was
necessary to replace the IMC. On the new IMC was no program inside.
I want to copy the program from the IMC of the good machine into the IMC which has been replaced.
When I try to upload I receive an error message" Fail to stop program".
Then I try to stop the program using the stop button from the GML commander.
I receive the same message.
I use the GML commander vers. 4 and the firmware of the IMC is 303003.9A
Dear friends, please guide me to copy the program from one IMC to other.

Dear benamar,
I want to upload the script from the IMC.
You have right, on the IMC is only the script, not the diagram.
But even in this situation, I don't understand why the controller
is not going into stop mode when I press the STOP button on GML commander.
I had try to stop them after a disconnection of a 485 link.
Even like that was not stopped the controller.
May be useful to disconnect also the Remote I/O modules ?
What is your idea ?

YOU KNOW THAT THE STOP MODE IS IN FIRST 14 DISCRIT INPUT IN GML COMMANDER, WHEN YOU ARE PRESSING THIS INPUT , THE CONTROLLER MUST BE SHUTTING DOWN.
PLEASE TRAY TO TRACE THE PROGRAM AND SEE WHY NOT GOING INTO STOP ROUTING.
NB: THE STOP MODE from GML = shut the controller
