Tool firmware??

If there are new firmwares for your PLC5 and 500, you can download it from AB. the files includes a download firmware utility (PC to PLC).

Sorry, the updates is only for Controllogix.

But i founded that:
For PLC5, you need to ask the nearest AB store for that updates.
For SLC500 the same.

In the past when we've had firmware issues and we've contacted AB; they've
always sent one of their service techs to do the firmware upgrades. The reason being, if something goes wrong, they take full responsibility for the replacement of the PLC (they will give you a refurbished one if the upgrade fails). I'm not sure if its worth the risk to try and do this yourself, especially if
the PLC is part of a critical machine.

Best of Luck.
