The new activation is over internet .
anybody know what is the difference
between the file activation method.
How can you access the new activation in your hard drive?
Is that possible to move the new activation in and out like before?

I used it.
You install the Factory Talk Activatio Client, it gets the ID of your HDD, Network cards or another hardware installed on your computer.
Then you go the AB site, it ask you for the serial number and the ID you choose for the registration, then it generates a key file, that only works with that Hardware installed in the PC. You dowload the file key and install it with the Factory Talk activation client.
But the key file generated by AB only works with that PC, because the key is associated with the Hardware ID you choose.
I do not know if it woks with usb-ethernet adapters, because you can use it as a key dongle.
If you want to change the activation to another pc, you only have 3 times to generate a new one in a year.
