Hi,

I have a Micrologix PLC 1500 on which channel 0 is free. I need to take this PLC in scada via ethernet module any one can suggest a suitable module for this??

currently I have searched and found two modules which are

1761-NET ENI
prosoft -PLX51-DF1-ENI

Which one will be reliable if some one used this please suggest

The question is, what is the SCADA package you are talking to and what protocol do you intend on using?

Can it poll the PLC or does the PLC have to write data to the SCADA?

We are going to use Zenon copadata software it will support AB drivers and modbus tcp/ip also it is capable to poll from PLC
