[?]: RSLOGIX500 V9.00.00 ACTIVATION problem

I have tried several times to activate the RSLOGIX500 software including starting from scratch:
am I missing something here ??
I edit the Hex edit 34 02 at FC339
I have added the following to my Factory Talk

FEATURE RS500P.exe flexsvr 1.00 permanent 10 VENDOR_STRING=9999999 \
HOSTID=ANY vendor_info="PRODUCT_NAME:RSLogix 500" SN=0000000001 \
SIGN="0034 5678 90AB CDEF 1122 3344 5566 7700 FFFF FFFF FFFF \
FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF"
And each time I run the program I get
"Fatal Error !
The copy protection licence for the application could not be acquired Error:2"
What gives ?? All my other stuff works fine.
Ok I found that Factory talk had made an *.rnl file located :

Users\All Users\Rockwell Automation\Factorytalk Activation
I removed those files (*.rnl) and under my Factory talk Activation Manager I refreshed the server.
This recreates the *.rnl file and now my RSLOGIX500 came up with a 7 day notice "This product has not been successfully activated".
I will check my wording in the activation file.
I have verified the Factory Talk TXT Activation file and it looks correct.

Hi Ronnie, the license file is for rslogix500 pro, serial # will need to be 1014123456 or any #'s after 1014 up to 10 digits.

I did the above and I am still not getting full activation just a 7 day expiration notice.

OK working now.
Here is what I did: Use the Serial above, then edit the Activation file and added the same Serial number in there, then I tried running the software and I got the 7 day notice.....
I then Hexedit the file and changed FC339 Hex 3402 to 3090
Saved and restarted RSLOGIX 500 V9 in Windows 7.0 and it works.....

Hi,
I am still having problems with activation.
Can you please give me step by step instruction on how to activate it.
I have followed the instruction found but I was not able to activate.
Any help would very much be appreciated.

Worked for me too, it was driving me crazy, on the front of the machine and coudn't open the program before using your tip.
