Flying shear Mashin

Hello ...
I'm researching about cross cutting systems(Flying Shear) of board and I want to do this project with PLC of Omron.I have two axis and two servomotor.
The boards are passing through the table and when they reach a certain length, the cutting machine begins to cut the board to a size. It is precisely the problem at this point of cutting and the decision time for the exact cutting.
How to calculate exact cutting time?If someone has an experience, please advise me.
