[?]: how to share memory between multivendor plcs
[?]: how to share memory between multivendor plcs
hi
i don't know where i must put this question exactly.
the question is how make cs1 memory can access memory at s7-300 or modicon quantum(share memory) directly use tcp/ip?
for example, switch at input address in cs1 make LED at output address in s7-300 or modicon quantum ON.
it's need additional hardware or just from plc programmer?
please help me solve this problem.
thanks before.

Re: [?]how to share memory between multivendor plcs
Since they probably use different communication protocols, i don't think you can make them communicate without a OPC server. Try KepServer with Canvas, or Cimplicity or any SCADA soft
Re: [?]how to share memory between multivendor plcs
is that impossible? okay i will use SCADA then. now, how i connect them with SCADA, especially vijeo citect? it's very complicated to me.Str3atWarrior wrote:Since they probably use different communication protocols, i don't think you can make them communicate without a OPC server. Try to use SIMATIC WinCC Flexible; it is esay to use, it supports both PLCs you mentioned. In WinCC, you can combine values and exchange data using scripts. It's easy, try it. Basic common programming skills needed.

HI,
First about S7-300 CPU. You don't mentioned how SIMATIC is reach ethernet. In case that You have some PN (Profinet) processor than look at

otherwise if You have some CP343 look thread from the following link

if nothing fits look at other threads form last link
