Hi everyone,

I am currently working with WinCC Unified V16 which as initial installation does not have support for autostart within SIMATIC Runtime Manager. It is described in the next link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLMEGYDo8Ng.

It is necessary to install Update3 from the next link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs ... 6?lc=en-WW

When I tried to install the Update3 I encountered on the issue prompted with the next message.

WinCC Unified PC V16.0 Upd3 requires WinCC Unified Scada V16.0 as instalation requirement. System is unable to locate this version on the computer.

Any one has an idea what can be the reason?

Install WINCC Unified PC RunTime for run compiled configuration.

my guess - take Wincc Unified V17 för your project - I make my first two projects with Unified last year - and it was not funny.

There was an advice from the Siemes guy - take V17 or wait until V18.

is "SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC Runtime V16" installed on the pc?

If you install an update for TIA - you need the "base" program.

You can*t install the Update 3 if there is not the program "SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC Runtime V16" installed on the pc.
