Does anybody have succes using COM525 under MS Windows XP?

I can't confirm 100%. I haven't necessary cable. But COM525 is starting by Step5. Step5 version 7.23 is compatible with Windows XP SP2. In my notebook I can start this com program, can create program. Let's say I can go around menus inside. But I never go online with hardware CP525/CP524. (I have this type CP, which is working at the moment). I believe that this will works, but this is Step5...

. By the way, I was connected with PG (windows 2000) with CP524.

I use for connection on S5 the IBH software S5/S7 for Windows or PG2000 od S7 Doctor.With Step 5 I did not try to connect.

I played a little in COM 525(offline) but after a while it crashed.
I have a COM 524 and I don't know what cable to use

I use CP524 / 525. Thre are more difference beetwen card.
for CP524 the program must be into a eprom, and you need a PROMMER

CP525 can be programmed also in ram through a interface 2 . To do this you need a special cable rs232 -- TTY . Is the same for cpu but the connector is 25 pin male

I'm sorry but i don't know the connect pin, and is't impossible to open the shell connector

You need S5 V7.0 or greather to work under Wxp sp2 , and COM525 add on package
