Greetings to all!

is anybody have 24MB MMC card image to share? and i planed to use with normal SD card with s7imgwrite1.
i need to update firmware 1.0 to latest firmware.
Original 24MB mmc card is very expensive and think alternative way to do it.
please give me any suggestion, thanks in advance.

For this Siemens cards is Gold

. After searched, able to download image file from RS. But when i update by using NORMAL SD, failed and cpu got ERROR LED flashed too. any ideas or procedures? thanks in adv.

You cannot use a standard SD/MMC card in the S71200 or any Siemens PLC.

The offical Siemens units ave a header written into them, that cannot be written to using a standard PC card writer.

You can use a Siemens Field unit that will use the official Siemens cards, or by using a standard PC with IMG R/W tool but you will have to have another original Siemens card , otherwise the PLC detects and looks for the unique header , if it cannot see it, the PLC will not run,

Sorry but unless you know , or anyone else, can find out, never been possible..
