[?]: S5 95U various versions compasion

Post by amit » Mon Jan 31, 2011 2:44 pm

Dear Friends,
There are various versions of S5 95U CPU . IS there any comparison chart so that we can readily compare two 95 U CPU versions. This will be very helpful in case of spare managment.

Thank You

Dear kriztof,
Thank you very much for your information. So from your information can we conclude that if either profibus, second serial or Sinelec interface is not used ( Only Digital Io +AnalogIO and counters are used ) then we can interchage whithin these versions. B'coz I have seen at various places stand alone S595 's are used. Here we can make such arrangements for spares.

I have practical experience with replacing basic unit for L2-DP Slave unit. By default additional interface is disabled so without parameterizing DB1 these units behave identically.
