- with CP firmware version V6.1 with STEP 7 version V5.4 or higher
- with CP firmware version V6.0 with STEP 7 version V5.2 SP1 or higher.

it's not recommended to do update of PCS7 software like in your case - PCS7 6.1 with Step7 5.5. Or might you meant PCS7 7.1?
