[?]: CPU314C and FM350-2

Post by amit » Mon Aug 16, 2010 3:45 pm

Hello,
I'm trying a combination of CPu314C ( 6ES7314 6CF01 0AB0) and Fm 350-2 ( 6ES7350-2AH00-0AB0) .
I'm using sample project . But the CPU remains in stop and FM350-2 Sf LED lits UP.
( It remains steady and flashes alternately).
In Fm350-2 manual is is given that it can be used with standard CPU's 313, 314,315.
But it is not clear that whethrer it can be used with COMPACT CPU's.
Anybody have any idea pl share with me.

Thanks And Regards

Amit

First of all check the diagnostic buffer of PLC (CPU-> PLC -> Module information) for an answer what is the cause.

Checked. It says that I/o acess error or Module type mismatch. Checked and confirmed module type nos.

Hello,
Do you have always your problem?

You must be shure that the Cpu and the FM350-2 are "power on" in the same time,
They must have the same power circuit.

Yes... I'm always trying new things so come across problems....
Anyway power circuit ( 24VDC) is same for CPU and FM350-2.

CPU314C and FM350 should work fine. In Hardwer configuration you should define correct configuration. This is very important. If you see "I/o acess error or Module type mismatch", than your configuration is fault.
