The distance of the Remote I.O network is approximately 1.5 km to 2km to Central CPU ( S7-300 or S7-400, I have to decide ). Dear Automation Experts.
I have problem, to program speed7 modbus.
Example how I want to read Input Register (3:00001 - 3:00010).
Say the Device modbus address = 2.

Do I need SFC24 (Test DB), SFC207 (SER_CTRL), SFC216 (SER_CFG),
SFC217 (SER_SND) and SFC 218 (SER_RCV) - VIPA SFC.
