The solution as I wrote works with V8 Rev E as well.
I'm not sure about your solution, but off course you can try that too.

It still would be better if anyone could find a real solution for the trial key.

I just got the latest version from Fanuc.
It has support for several new robots and its called RoboGuide V8 Ref. E
It also has new controller software v8.13 - R-30iB
